1. Hiring and Payment
1a. All basic details need to be discussed prior to payment for accuracy of price. Any major changes after payment pay result in an extra charge at time of change.
1b. Payment should always been sent through the agreed upon channel. If payments are being split, both payments should come through the same method for easy tracking.
1c. If an order is under $25 payment can be sent after project completion or before depending on customer preference. If an order is over $25, half of the payment must be sent upfront. This is not debatable.
1d. If at any point during drawing, if a payment is reversed, the drawing will be unfinished and the customer will not be allowed to commission me again.
1e. If after drawing is received, payment is revered, the proper authorities may be contacted for theft or fraud.
2. Drawing Processes
2a. All major details of character(s) should be exchanged before payment and the drawing process has started.
2b. The customer will receive 4 versions throughout the process: basic sketch, flat color, finished with background, finished transparent. This can be changed on a case by case basis (such as wanting a gif version) but any changes need to be discussed ahead of time.
2c. The customer can request 3 alterations to the artwork for free as long as they are reasonable. These alterations have to be requested at the sketch or flat color stages. Changes outside those windows, more than 3, or major changes, may result in an upcharge.
3. Using Commissioned Art for Commercial or Promotional Activities
3a. If you are planning to use the art for commercial or promotional activities, this must be discussed ahead of time.
3b. Using art for these activities may require an upcharge and/or crediting me when applicable.
3c. Removing the watermark to use art in such activities will result in an upcharge.
3d. You are not to claim my art as your own. If found doing so for monetary or promotional purposes, the proper authorities may be contacted.
3e. Activities that may fall under this category: streaming, clothing designs, company ads, packaging art, and others.
Activities that typically do not fall into this category: DnD or other TTRPG games (unless overlapping with above activities), using for personal Profile photos, using for other personal reasons such as roleplay or gift giving.
4. Refunds
4a. Full refunds cannot be acquired.
4b. If at the sketching or flat color stage, you have a viable reason to break off the contract of commission, a partial refund may be given. This is decided on a case by case basis.
4c. Partial refunds may not be acquired after finished artwork has been received.
5c. Any charge back from payment after a refund has been refused will be reported to the proper authorities.
